Open invitation to builders with “Boots on the Ground”
You are invited to a new Core Erosion and Sediment Control training specifically adapted to mountain conditions. The training is designed for the “boots on the ground” workers, those directly involved in clearing a site for development or making site improvements. These include bulldozer and backhoe operators, and the ones with the shovels. The training features hands-on learning at a field site.
- When: Tuesday, March 29 9:00 to 4:00 Registration begins at 8:30 am
- Where: Room A in Burrell Building, at Southwestern Community College, Sylva (Click here for map)
Last year this training was held in Haywood County receiving great reviews. All five of the sections of the training got ratings of good or excellent.
